Occupational Safety and Health Regulations

二 Eliminate hazards and reduce occupational safety and health risks, with the goal of zero workplace accidents
 
When the company implements occupational safety and health improvement measures, the evaluation will be prioritized in the following order

 

  1. Eliminate hazards.
  2. Replace with processes, operations, materials, or equipment with lower risks.
  3. Establish a safety work plan.
  4. Implement administrative controls, including training.
  5. Use appropriate and sufficient personal protective equipment.


三、    Occupational Safety and Health in Procurement, Contracting, and Outsourcing

  3. The General Affairs Department should assist the requesting department in obtaining relevant safety specifications and certification data from suppliers, ensuring that suppliers commit to following the above regulations.
  4. When procuring fire safety engineering, the responsible department should ensure that relevant fire safety laws and requirements from the fire insurance company are fully incorporated into the procurement specifications.
  5. The procurement of protective equipment should comply with national standards.
  6. When involving labor procurement, the procurement contract should specify insurance agreements and require labor service personnel to agree to comply with the "Occupational Safety and Health Act" regarding contracted work regulations.
  7. When procurement items involve leasing equipment, machinery, or labor services from suppliers, the rental agreement should specify occupational safety and health regulations for the equipment, machinery, and labor services.
  8. Safety control regulations should be clearly defined in the lease agreement (e.g., automatic inspection of equipment during usage, the entry of qualified hazardous machinery into the premises, personnel certifications/professional training qualifications, and the effectiveness of safety protection devices/facilities).
  9. When contractors perform contracted work and deficiencies are recorded during the operation, if no improvements are made, the contractor should be included in the next evaluation for observation and further cooperation assessment.
